Dr. K. Vanitha, Dean of Annaii Medical College & Hospital completed MD(Paediatrics) from Madras Medical College in 1994 and held various Academic and Administrative posts at Government Medical Colleges of Tamil Nadu for more than 20 years.
Under National Health Mission, she looked after NICU activities and brought down the death rate of neonatal mortality at Coimbatore Medical and district level. She was awarded the Best Doctor award by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2020 for COVID-19 activities
Currently she is associated with Annaii Medical College for more than a year and actively managing the Medical College for its establishment.
